Pursuing Passion
As the title says, I am here to talk about my passion.
But first let me tell you that I have enrolled in a course that I do not even want to. All of it was my own fault because of my indecision and lack of dreams for the future. So what will I offer to you? What will one measly life experience can do?
The answer is to share my passion.
Yes. I want to share to you my recently discovered passion since living in a city. Before coming here, my life was typically revolving around anime. I watch anime the whole day. I'm really not doing anything useful for me and for my family. I do not do chores at all. I just lay on my bed, sleep, eat and watch.
But there's something I really really enjoy to do to kill past time.
It is doing artworks.
Since I was a child, I have looked up to my sister who did a great job in drawing anime. I have created numerous artworks as a child but also stopped creating them for quite a while. Maybe because I can not find any accomplishments and all those artworks since I kept for myself. Reality speaking, people would not put so much effort for something that would not be appreciated. We need other people's opinion, reactions and support in order to move forward. Then one day, I broke through my limits. My fears for negative judgement. Fear of communicating online. Fear of doubting my art. I started to create an instagram account containing all of my arts. Some people noticed me. I have shared conversations with great artists and they became one of my irreplaceable friends. I have gained true supporters. They are my motivation. That is why I have found myself doing new artwork after another.
I was once a person who did nothing but to shut herself in her room doing nothing. Now that I have found a skill that needs to be polished, I will grab unto every opportunity in order to be better.
